According to sanyok, Yahoo started opening POP3 ports. More here.

May be it is to early to celebrate, but I hope Yahta played some role in explaining to Yahoo that they must not charge money for services that are so easy to implement.

Yahta 5 beta

The old hack, which allowed getting entire message in one piece doesn't work any more. New Yahta composes the messages from the parts, expect bugs.

Parse errors

If there is a parsing error:
open a browser,
delete cookies,
log-in to mail.yahoo.com,
if there is an invite to download yahoo tool bar or something else, deal with it somehow (I clicked "no thanks, go to my mailbox").

New version is done. Before using it login to Yahoo and switch the interface to the new one with AJAX.

There is a major change at Yahoo's site. Old parser doesn't work anymore. I'm working on the new Yahta.

Please make sure that you have .Net 2.0 installed.
You will see subfolder with name beginning with v2.0 in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\

Please get Nov-3 version.

If you have "Parse error" for some of your accounts but not for others, please check settings on the web yahoo.com. Sometimes they switch interface to the new Ajax without asking.
